As a farmer’s daughter, I’ve always been fascinated with the beauty of farmland and the lives of farmers - the daily routines, the struggles, the hopes and dreams. My exploration began on my grandparent’s apple orchard in rural Ohio, and then I began documenting farm life from around the world - from California to Italy to Japan. I sought out to hear their stories, capturing their world of planting, harvesting, and preparing meals for the community. I hope these pictures honor their livelihood and the beautiful land they call home.
